Total worldwide shipments and digital sales for Nioh 2 have surpassed 2.5 million units, publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Team Ninja announced.
The sales update was announced as part of the series’ fifth anniversary today in Japan. It is a 500,000-unit increase from its previously announced two million units in April 2021.
Nioh 2 first launched for PlayStation 4 in March 2020, followed by PC via Steam in February 2021. A Nioh Collection including remastered versions of Nioh and Nioh 2 launched for PlayStation 5 in February 2021.
