In April 2019, they released their EP Map of the Soul: Persona. It debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, making BTS the first group since The Beatles to have three No. 1 albums in less than a year. “Boy With Luv” served as the lead single for Map of the Soul: Persona, and at the time it broke the record for the most-viewed online music video in 24 hours.

The group put on two record-breaking worldwide tours, Love Yourself World Tour and BTS World Tour Love Yourself: Speak Yourself. They won Top Social Artist and Top Duo/Group at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards, and Best K-Pop and Best Group at the 2019 MTV Video Music Awards.
