Even with Game of Thrones off of TV for the next year or two, and no books on the horizon, the series never really goes away. The latest addition is Game of Thrones: Tale of Crows, a new mobile game from That Silly Studio and Devolver Digital that looks absolutely gorgeous.

The game focuses on the Night’s Watch, the ancient order tasked with protecting the realms of men from all the threats that lie to the North, beyond the Wall. Players control various Lords Commander of the Night’s Watch throughout its proud thousand-year-long history.

While they’re in command of the Night’s Watch, players will do things like send out ravens to the various kingdoms of Westeros, send rangers north of the Wall on expeditions, and play out various stories from one of the continent’s most important historical institutions.

Since it’s an idle game, many of the actions take place in real time — meaning they take hours or days to reach completion. Thankfully, all that waiting won’t be much of a chore thanks to Tale of Crows beautiful art. The game renders some of Game of Thrones’ frozen-over Northern locales in stunning low-polygon style. In particular, the Wall and the areas around it look incredible.

Game of Thrones: Tale of Crows is available now for iOS devices. The game is available on the Apple App Store, but is limited to Apple Arcade subscribers only.
