The Cherry Hill Public Library will be closed until Nov. 18 after an employee tested positive for COVID-19, according to a social media statement from the library.
The 72,00 square-foot facility will be cleaned and disinfected during the shutdown. Officials said they are working with the Camden County Department of Health for the cleanup of one of the largest municipal libraries in the state.
Books and other materials borrowed will be automatically renewed until Nov. 30 and officials ask that no materials be returned into outside drop boxes, which will not be staffed during the closing. Donations to the township food drive will also not be collected at the library during this time.
Virtual programs and access to eBooks will continue during the closure.
