Zach Braff and girlfriend Florence Pugh stepped in to help friend Amanda Kloots as she grieves the loss of her husband, Broadway star Nick Cordero.
Braff and Pugh were spotted taking Cordero and Kloots’ 1-year-old son, Elvis, out for a stroll in Los Angeles on Monday.
Cordero, 41, died Sunday morning due to complications stemming from his battle with the coronavirus. Kloots consistently updated his dedicated fanbase about his progress as he remained hospitalized in LA.
Following his passing, Braff, who was best friends with Cordero, shared the last text message that Cordero ever sent him.
“The last thing he ever texted me was to look out for his wife and one year old son, Elvis,” Braff wrote on Instagram. “I promise the world they will never want for anything.”
Kloots continues to share her fondest memories of Cordero on social media as she turns to her family while she grieves.
“In times of trauma, look for the silver linings. Spend time with family. Smile through the tears,” she wrote. “Have faith when things seem impossible. Love one another.”
