Today is being described as a “crazy” day backstage at WWE Monday Night Raw.

Earlier today, WWE announced that Bobby Lashley would face Sheamus. Vince McMahon scrapped plans for that match and, as seen tonight on Raw, that was changed to RKO Bro defending the Raw Tag Team Championship against Lashley and MVP.

Also, as reported by PWInsider, Damian Priest was scheduled to defend the United States Championship against Drew McIntyre in the first match on Raw. That was changed to Priest defending in a Triple Threat Match against Sheamus and McIntyre.

PWI reported that a lot of things were switched around, including where certain segments would be placed. This has happened many times in the past but it’s been a while since we’ve seen so many advertised matches get scrapped on the day of the show.

The Miz vs. John Morrison was scheduled for tonight but it is no longer listed in the preview on WWE.com so it may have been scrapped.
