Upset-minded Nebraska has cut the lead to 16-9 entering the fourth quarter against No 3. Oklahoma. The Sooners and Cornhuskers are knotted evenly at 290 total yards after 45 minutes of action, one of the worst offensive showings since Lincoln Riley took over at OU.

Sooners quarterback Spencer Rattler has completed 18 of 25 passes for 169 yards and has thrown and rushed for a touchdown. However, the Sooners have struggled to put together sustained drives. Before an 80-yard touchdown drive in the third quarter, three of OU’s last four drives had lasted five or fewer plays. Nebraska is benefitting from a dynamic game from veteran QB Adrian Martinez. He has completed 14 of 18 passes for 186 yards passing, 43 yards rushing and the Cornhuskers’ lone touchdown. Five of Nebraska’s six drives have lasted at least seven plays, including scoring drives of 14 and nine plays. Special teams have played a critical role as the two teams have missed all three field goal attempts.
