We have a thriller in Happy Valley tonight as No. 10 Penn State leads No. 22 Auburn 21-17 after three quarters. It’s been a game of long drives as both teams have combined for four touchdown treks of at least 75 yards.
Of course, the other big storyline has been some questionable officiating. There have been bad spots, unexplained intentional grounding calls, and then there was Penn State punting on third down in the first half because officials mistakenly had it marked as fourth down despite the Nittany Lions’ protests. Despite of the officiating, it’s still been an exciting game, and the final 15 minutes should bring plenty more craziness with a White Out surrounding the field.
