The Voice season 21 is heating up with blind auditions quickly coming to a close. Coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Ariana Grande are getting chooser and chooser about who joins their teams. But according to Kelly, fans of the NBC singing competition show can expect to hear some other exciting news during Tuesday night’s episode … she just won’t say what it is.
Ahead of Monday night’s episode, the 39-year-old American Idol alum took to Twitter to tease the upcoming moment, but she stopped short of revealing any important details. “There’s an announcement happening tomorrow for @nbcthevoice! Any guesses?!” she wrote.

Taking up Kelly on her challenge, The Voice fans put their heads together and began throwing out their best guesses about what it could be about. Among the comments, some folks speculated that it could be about former Voice coaches Adam Levine or Gwen Stefani returning to the show. Others thought it could be Blake announcing he is leaving after 10 years on the hit series.
Still, the most popular guess involved a beloved English singer-songwriter making an appearance. “Adele will be guest mentor on The Voice,” one person wrote. “If I watch it for Adele and is not her 🔪🔪🔪,” another added. “IT HAS TO BE ADELE,” a different fan said. “ADELE OF COURSE,” a follower commented. “If it’s not Adele we don’t want it,” someone else quipped.
Shortly after, fellow coach John also posted a similar tweet, which also didn’t divulge any real information. “No spoilers here but we have an announcement tomorrow for @nbcthevoice!” he wrote.

Instead of sharing their own guesses, many tried to get more intel from the “All of Me” singer. “Give us all of the information @johnlegend,” one person wrote. “Do we get a hint 😊,” asked another. “John? 👀 I’m waiting,” someone else tweeted. “MR. LEGEND,” a fan commented.
Taking a closer look at the Adele theory, there’s rumors that the Mega Mentor is Grammy Award-winning singer Ed Sheeran. Now, this has not been confirmed or denied by The Voice, so Adele being the Mega Mentor isn’t completely out of reach. As for the Battle Advisors, four artists have already been named: Jason Aldean for Team Kelly, Camila Cabello for Team Legend, Dierks Bentley for Team Blake and Kristin Chenoweth for Team Ariana.
