Nintendo Switch System Update 13.1.0 Is Now Live – Adds The Switch Online Expansion Pack – Nintendo Life

Nintendo has just rolled out version 13.1.0 for the Switch. This is the first update it’s had since the arrival of the OLED Model earlier this month.

According to Nintendo Japan’s customer support account on social media, this update is required to download in order to play the Switch Online ‘Expansion Pack’ containing Nintendo 64 and Sega Mega Drive games. As usual, there are a number of stability improvements to enhance the overall user experience.

The Expansion Pack update also adds support for the Nintendo 64 and Sega Mega Drive controllers and includes the Animal Crossing: Happy Home Paradise expansion – but this won’t be accessible until next week on November 5th.
