The first case of the COVID-19 Delta variant has been detected in Douglas County.Health officials say a woman in her 40s has been diagnosed with the variant. “The only surprise is that it took this long for the state’s largest county to have a first case of this variant,” Health Director Dr. Adi Pour said. “Please make sure to get the vaccine.”An investigation has been launched.
