With Solo: A Star Wars Story making the switch from Netflix to Disney+, most of the Star Wars movies are now available with a subscription to Disney’s streaming service. Are all the movies in the Skywalker Saga available for binge-watching? Here’s what we know about the Star Wars franchise and its relationship to the Walt Disney Company

Disney has a number of ‘Star Wars’ television shows and movies

After nine movies and countless battles, the Skywalker Saga has finally come to a close with The Rise of Skywalker. For Star Wars fans looking to relive the adventures, though, look no further than Disney’s streaming platform.

This subscription service holds movies from the original trilogy, the prequel trilogy, and the sequel trilogy. All of the movies of the Skywalker Saga are available on Disney+, as are other movies in the “Star Wars Story,” like Rogue One and Solo.

Movies like ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ and ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ are available on Disney+

Although it technically doesn’t feature characters like Luke Skywalker and C-3PO, it does help tell the story of the Empire and Anakin Skywalker. Rogue One: A Star Wars story is listed on the Disney+ library.

Most recently, Solo: A Star Wars Story appeared on Disney+. It was previously available on the streaming platform, Netflix, due to a “pre-existing agreement,” but later made the switch. This wouldn’t be the first (or the last) time Disney content was available on Netflix, as movies like Mary Poppins Returns are still streamable on the rival service.

Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War recently made the switch, as well. Solo: A Star Wars Story was important, though, because it completed the collection of Star Wars films available on Disney’s streaming platform. Now, fans can watch all of the movies to complete the story of the Skywalkers.

There’s also original ‘Star Wars’ content available on this streaming platform

Disney+ has a number of original shows that take place in the Star Wars universe, including Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which was finished thanks to this subscription service.

There’s also The Mandalorian, the first-ever live-action Star Wars series and one of the most popular shows on Disney+. The Mandalorian was even renewed for a second season, with fans expecting new episodes to premiere later in 2020.

Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of this original series, with interviews from the cast, directors, and the mastermind behind the hit, Jon Favreau. Although episodes premiered on a weekly basis, they’re all available for binge-watching now on Disney’s streaming platform.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is now on Disney’s streaming library, as are the original Star Wars movies and the sequel trilogy. To learn more about Disney+ and to subscribe, visit their website.
